THE VEHICLE

Class A, B & C

The coach’s year, model, VIN and windshield markings help narrow down the correct glass.

THE CONFIGURATION

One piece or split

Large single windshields and divided windshield assemblies need their own identification and service plan.

THE DECISION

Repair or replace

Send a clear view of the damage. The team needs to assess the glass before recommending an option.

Start with the coach,
not a guess.

Motorhomes can have very specific glass configurations. A model name alone may not identify everything the team needs. Share the year, manufacturer, model and VIN, together with photos of the full front of the RV and the damaged area.

If the windshield has visible etched numbers or a manufacturer label, include a close-up. Those details can help the team discuss the replacement, sourcing and scheduling before an appointment is arranged.

A service plan that fits the setting.

A large windshield needs space to work. Access to the RV, the surrounding surface and the installation conditions affect whether shop or mobile service is suitable. Tell us where the vehicle is parked and about any gate, height or workspace restrictions.

Absolute Auto Glass has a dedicated RV service trailer and technicians with RV-specific training. The team will confirm the work required for your vehicle rather than promise a standard time for every coach.

Leave room for aftercare.

Your next departure matters. Ask about glass availability and the installation plan early, then follow the technician’s safe-drive-away instructions after the work. Adhesive requirements and conditions can affect when the RV is ready to move.

Plan around your travel date
Before the appointment

Good questions
to bring along.

Can a chip be repaired?

It depends on the damage and the windshield. Send close-up and wider photos so the team can assess whether repair is an option. A photo alone may not settle the final recommendation.

Can you help with an insurance claim?

The team can help you gather glass information and discuss the service process. Your insurer determines coverage, deductible and claim requirements; confirm those details with the insurer.

Is same-day replacement available?

Availability depends on the exact glass, the work required and scheduling. Call before making travel arrangements around a service date.
